Unable to access internet with Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto
You may experience not having internet access while using Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto on their VHEDIA Head Unit.
CAUSE - This is due to the limitations of the head unit because using Wireless Carplay/Android Auto uses your WIFI for connectivity, which means you can't hotspot your phone to the head unit to provide internet access for your head unit. However, this is possible if you use wired Wireless Carplay/Android Auto, as you'll be able to use them even with your hotspot on. Please watch the video for a better reference.

"If I had another device to create an internet network. Will my phone still work with CarPlay?". - This is not possible as the head unit's wifi can only connect to one device. Your best option is purchasing the 4G Dongle that provides internet access through your head unit's USB port. What this means is that with the 4G Dongle you can now use Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto while having internet access at the same time. I have provided the link for the 4G Dongle down below.
